New type of poundage

Since my slim and trim hopefuls for this bod has been put on hold due to the wonderful blessing of a baby, I have decided to embark on a different kind of Dropin' Poundage. I am "DUE" to have this kiddo in just 6 weeks time. However, given my past track record, I won't expect to see this little guy for at least 7 weeks, with the hopes that my Doctors won't make me wait longer than 1 week over due. Anyway, My weight loss will be in a different form over the next 8 weeks. I say 8 weeks because its a good round number, and it will give me a good cushion time.
What kind of poundage am I hoping to loose? CLUTTER! 10 years of marriage, 2 kids, an addiction to crafting, yard sales, and hobbies for the hubby can really clutter a place. I actually just had a yard sale this morning, however, the items I sold were left overs from a yard sale LAST YEAR. Thus, nothing new has exited my home.  I....WE have a lot to do to prepare for the arrival of our 2nd son and 3rd child, and I thought if I wrote everything down and documented it, I might hold true to my goal... ( but I am ME, so don't get your hopes up)
I was browsing pinterest (another addiction) and I came across a list of 101 ways to DE clutter your life. I printed this list off and have let it sit in my living room for the past 3 weeks... yes among the other clutter. I guess just putting a list with intentions doesn't automatically do the job for you. I realize I must do the work myself, and hope to ensnare my husband and children to help me out. Keep in mind, this list is more guidelines and ideas. Some of the things on the list I don't have at all, and some I actually just went through, which should make this task a little less daunting. But I am a small hoarder. I see potential in everything, and I often use the excuse " I might use that one day". so this will be refreshing and enlightening for me.
Here is the plan... there are 101 items on the list to "purge or severely minimize". I am giving myself 8 weeks to complete the list. I figure if I commit 3-4 days ( evening, morning ect.) a week to complete this, we should be less cluttered, and ready to welcome baby. I have divided the list into categories: Kitchen, Closet/Bathroom, Kids, Tina, Terrance, Home and Family. That's 7 categories for 8 weeks. so the 8th week HOPEFULLY won't be needed. Since Sunday is the first Day of the week I plan to start tomorrow. I PLAN to update this weekly, maybe more if I need to vent :) I will post the list so you can have it too. Wish me luck, and if you decide to try this too, please share your experience with me on here or Facebook. I love to hear of others experiences. Thanks for reading wish me luck, and pray that I can get my family on board! :) Happy Dropin'!
